In 1994 DJ FLOY started being closely interested in the electronics
music. In the same time he is discovering gradually the wonders of
soul, disco music and funk. Host radio in 1997, he makes discover to
his listeners the sounds combining the force of the groove and the
power of the beat: Detroit Techno andChicago House...
But it’s towards the vocal house ofNew York (the garage) that dj
Floy will be turned. That sound is the mixture of all his influences. This radio show make him become the resident of the largest club of
the city (La Nuit- Auch, France) during 2 years (2000-2002).Then dj Floy
will continue his career on the French Riviera. After appearances in
various clubs later, he becomes resident DJ of“Salsa “(After
hours-Nice) .During almost 3 years, he will make discover to the
increasingly more clubbers , the real house: Soulful & Garage
music. DJ FLOY made various evenings nights in many Clubs(at Nice and
Monaco), where he played his music, but it was at the Check point
(Before-Nice), where he could play for a public come from all over the
world.
Since 2005, dj Floy returnes to his origin’s area and at the
origins of his career: the radio. His radio show, Paradise Garage (in
homage of Larry Levan and the mythical N.Y club)allows him to make many
private evenings and party on exceptionally place like Marcoussis
Stadium (Paris - June 2005).Each week, Paradise Garage shows offer to
the listeners ,dj Floy’s musical knowledge and technical skill with
great soulful & garage tunes selection.
